I created this custom engagement ring around an old mine-cut champagne diamond, framed in a 14k yellow gold bezel and set on a simple round platinum band.
Champagne diamonds aren’t colorless, which often means they’re graded as less valuable—but that’s part of their charm. I’ve never believed in being a slave to the four C’s of diamond grading. The heart wants what it wants, and for me, these softer, warmer tones often win out. They feel more unusual, more personal—idiosyncratic in the best way. And yes, often less expensive too—all good reasons to choose what you truly love.
