Jim came to me with a very special emerald and wanted a ring he could wear as a talisman—a piece to help him feel grounded and centered. I designed the ring to keep the emerald as the focus while the hand-carved gold setting adds warmth, protection, and substance. A few diamonds at each corner highlight the stone without overpowering it, and the soft, sculpted form of the metal complements the geometry of the emerald.
